At long last, welcome to my new home! Chicharrita: La Casa Loca.
Welcome to Barichara! The streets are deceptively peaceful, full of flowers and blue skies. What could possibly go wrong in this paradise?
Ah! The famous Chicharrita: La Casa Loca! Beware, there’s rumors people have been electrocuted here and that the place is haunted. (Though even if it is haunted, this may be the closest I ever come to living in a gated community!)
Now that you’ve passed the threshold and committed yourself to exploring the unknown grounds of Chicharrita, a chill runs up your spine… There’s no one here to save you from the spirits haunting Chicharrita.
…or not. It appears someone does yoga here every morning.
The house looks peaceful, actually.
Aack! This must be one of the ghosts you were warned about – Juanito!
After managing to evade Juanito you notice the door is open… Come in!
This looks pretty tranquil. You breathe a sigh of relief.
Until you look to your left and see the crazy person that inhabits this house. Beware, this could happen to you too and you may never leave Chicharrita!
Though the view from up here is cool
And the breeze in the room upstairs reminds you of the beach
Downstairs again you’re glad someone has fed the beast
And it doesn’t look like anyone died from electric shock or a gas explosion here
The back courtyard lulls you into a sense of security – all seems well in the world!
Until these crazies show up and you realize that you’d better get out of here before their madness catches you too
To the church! For salvation!
